Gettin' Crafty

The Arts & Crafts Movement emerged in the late 19th century as a response to industrialization and mass production during the Victorian era. It sought to revive traditional craftsmanship, emphasize the use of high-quality materials, and promote the value of handmade goods in the decorative arts, architecture, and design.

Our Arts & Crafts Lever pays homage to this iconic movement in architecture, known for its emphasis on craftsmanship and timeless design. The Arts & Crafts lever beautifully captures the essence of this architectural era with its clean lines, simple geometry, and attention to detail. Available in 4 brass finishes, that can be paired with any rosette (craftsman inspired or otherwise!).

Arts & Crafts Collection

Named for the decorative and fine arts movement that began in Britain during the 1850s, Emtek's Arts & Crafts Collection includes hardware in the style of the American Craftsman architectural persuasion. This collection includes:

UPGRADE WITH CONCEALED FASTENER 2.0

Our Concealed Fastener Mechanism provides a clean look with no visible screws on the interior rosette.

All CF Mechanism lever upgrades also include a 28 degree latch (vs the standard 45 degree latch), which requires less rotation to disengage the latch and open a door when compared to standard latches.

RIGHT OR LEFT HANDING?

To determine the handing of your door:

  • Stand at the exterior side of the door in question, facing towards the inside.
  • Take note of which side of the door the hinges are on.
    • If the hinges are on the left side, then the door and the hardware should be left handed.
    • If the hinges are on the right side, then the door and the hardware should be right handed.
